about

Welcome to the fourth Knacker's Yard CD release! We never expected to be so prolific with our “do it yourself” style releases; however, having a recording engineer in the band always helps. Add to this our rough-and-ready style of recording in home, off the floor, and by the band... and here we are: number four! This CD marks the end of four years of hard playing and rehearsing. In those four years we have never stopped striving to hone our skills both as performers and instrumentalists. Keeping in mind that, with the later addition William FitzGerald, and even more recently Stephen Johnson, we started this group from scratch and are still learning our instruments through practice and performance. As we strive to better the band at all times we are not afraid to be highly critical of ourselves when it comes to playing and singing. Overall I think that all of our progress, which is clearly marked (for better or for worse) in our first four releases, is honest and meaningful. I can state with confidence that we are giving it our all. Our hope is that our fans from all over the world see this in what we create.

Enjoy.
